FAQs

I’m having problems logging-in to MyPage. Who should I contact?

MyPage is a RLSS UK Member benefit and only available to RLSS UK individual members.

  • If you would like to become a member, full information can be found at http://www.rlss.org.uk/support-us/members/
  • If your RLSS UK membership has lapsed, you can come back into membership by phoning RLSS UK Member Services on 0300 3230 096 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).

If you are a current RLSS UK individual member, please check you are using your correct username and password.

  • Your username is your RLSS UK Society number (an 8 digit number starting with 3). Your RLSS UK Society number appears on any correspondence you have received from RLSS UK (e.g. certificates, membership card).
  • Your password will have been sent to you in your MyPage invite e-mail.

All current individual RLSS UK Members with e-mail addresses registered with RLSS UK should have now been provided with log-in details to MyPage. If you can’t find your MyPage log-in details or are still having problems logging-in, please e-mail membership@rlss.org.uk (stating your reason for e-mailing, full name, RLSS UK Society Number and Date of Birth). Once requested, MyPage log-in details will be e-mailed to you.

RLSS UK Member Services is also available on 0300 3230 096 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).

I’ve downloaded the RLSSUK MyApp but can’t get in. What are my log-in details?

Your RLSSUK MyApp log-in details are exactly the same as your MyPage log-in details. Please see above FAQ.

I’m an RLSS UK individual member and would like to register an e-mail address with RLSS UK so that I can receive key membership e-mail communications and access MyPage?

If you haven’t already and would like to register an email address with RLSS UK, please email membership@rlss.org.uk (stating your reason for e-mailing, full name, RLSS UK Society Number, Date of Birth and confirmation of the email address you would like to register with RLSS UK). This will enable you to receive key membership email communications and receive a MyPage invite with log-in details.

How do I renew my RLSS UK Membership?

If you are already a RLSS UK member and are renewing your annual RLSS UK membership, there are several ways that you can renew your membership.

  • Log-in to your MyPage account and pay online via the ‘Membership Renewal’ icon.
  • Phone RLSS UK Member Services on 0300 3230 096 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). Please have your RLSS UK Society Number and payment details to hand when you call as we will need these to process your renewal.
  • Pay by Direct Debit (by completing the Direct Debit Mandate on the back of your renewal letter or requesting a Direct Debit Mandate from membership@rlss.org.uk
  • Pay by cheque (posting the cheque to RLSS UK, River House, High Street, Broom, Warwickshire, B50 4HN). Please write the member’s RLSS UK Society number on the reverse of the cheque.

If your RLSS UK membership has lapsed, you can come back into membership by phoning RLSS UK Member Services on 0300 3230 096 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).

Where is my Card of Authority?

As part of RLSS UK providing customers with convenient online services and contributing to a greener environment, RLSS UK has made changes to the way individuals provide proof of their trainer assessor and instructor qualifications.

Cards of Authority have been replaced with a Certificate of Authority.

RLSS UK individual members who have an e-mail address registered with RLSS UK can view and provide proof of their qualifications digitally via MyPage and RLSSUK MyApp (RLSS UK will not be posting a Certificate of Authority to these members).

For now, RLSS UK will still be posting a Certificate of Authority to those RLSS UK members who do not have an email address registered with RLSS UK (and to those non-members who just hold a Rookie Instructor qualification).

What is MyPage?

MyPage is RLSS UK’s Member online services, accessible via www.rlss.org.uk (MyPage icon) or direct at https://mypage.rlss.org.uk/

As a RLSS UK individual member, through MyPage you can:

  • Check and update your contact details (e-mail, phone, address)
  • Renew your Membership when due (credit/ debit card payment, with further payment options coming soon)
  • View or download Lifesavers Magazines, Membership Newsletters and Member Insurance documents
  • View all of your current qualifications and awards via the qualifications area.
  • Download your Certificate of Authority (for those with training and assessing qualifications) which you can then save, print or e-mail onwards. This Certificate of Authority replaces the previous Card of Authority and will show both RLSS UK and IQL UK qualifications (where held).

RLSS UK Members can download the RLSSUK MyApp - a brand new app which provides members with the ability to show their membership and current qualifications on the go on their mobile devices. RLSSUK MyApp is available on Android and Apple platforms, with photographic personalisation available (upload your photo ID via MyPage!).

I’ve downloaded my Certificate of Authority but no qualifications show. Why is this?

The Certificate of Authority only shows current training, assessing and instructor qualifications as the purpose the Certificate of Authority is to demonstrate an individual has the necessary qualifications to deliver RLSS UK qualifications/ awards (for example, it would not show a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification). If you have any queries on your Certificate of Authority, please contact the RLSS UK Customer Service Team on advice@rlss.org.uk or 0300 3230 096.
